East SHABWAH - Blocks (10)

-    Located in Masila- Say'un basin, with area of 964 Km².

-    Block(10) is operated by Total-French Company.

- The main  reservoirs in the block are (Qishn Clastic), (Saar Sand, Saar Carbonate) in addition to (fracture basement rocks).

-    The partners in the Production Sharing Agreement with the Yemeni government are:

KUFPEC (14.29%)

COMECO (28.57%)

TOTAL (28.57%)

OCCIDENTAL (28.57%).

-    The block has (3) fields, with an average production rate of (40,000) BOPD.

-  The total number wells ware 66 until Jan. 2007.

-    The block is connected with the main pipeline of block 14 (NEXEN) by 46 Km long, and 10" diameter of the pipeline.

-    The produced is intermediate oil in the different fields with a density between (28-32 API) for the main reservoirs, whereas is light oil in basement rocks with (41 API).
