Malik - Blocks (9)

-    Located in Masila- Say'un basin, with area of 3,530 Km².

-    Block(9) is operated by Calvalley Petroleum (Cyprus) Ltd.- Canadian Company.

-  The main reservoirs in the block are (Qishn Clastic), (Saar Sand).

-    The partners in the Production Sharing Agreement with the Yemeni government are:

CALVALLEY (46.75%)

REILIANCE (17%)

HOOD OIL (21.25%)

YCO (15%).

-  In General it contains (3) fields,  with an average of (4,150) BOPD.

- The total number of wells ware 69 until Dec. 2011.

-    The block is connected with the main pipeline of block 5 (Jannah).

- The Block Oil is light oil with a density (40 API), and Heavy oil with a density (16 API),  in addition to a big gas reserve, which is not invested nor exploited so far.
